Joel Embiid leaves 76ers game with shoulder injury
Joel Embiid left Wednesday night’s Philadelphia 76ers game at Cleveland after injuring his shoulder.
Embiid was moving towards the low block on a Philly possession late in the first quarter. He collided with Ante Zizic and immediately grabbed his left shoulder in pain.
Embiid went into the locker room after shooting free throws but later returned to the bench. He did not re-enter the game and instead was ruled out.
Embiid had three points in eight minutes before the injury. He entered the game averaging 23.8 points and 12 rebounds per game for the 36-22 76ers.
