Kevin Durant likely to return from ankle injury Monday
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant will not play Saturday due to a foot injury, but is likely to be back in the lineup on Monday.
Coach Steve Kerr, in ruling out Durant for Saturday, said that his star forward would likely be ready to play in San Antonio on Monday after getting a bit of extra time to rest his bothersome ankle.

Durant will end up missing about a week after suffering an ankle injury that was originally deemed minor. While not serious, it did linger for a while, but it sounds like the Warriors are taking advantage of the fact that they can afford to be cautious in bringing Durant back.
