Kevin Durant reportedly unsure about taking free agent meetings
Kevin Durant has reportedly declined his player option for next season and will be a free agent this summer. But he has not decided about whether he will be taking free agent meetings, according to one report.
The Athletic’s David Aldridge reported on Thursday that Durant hadn’t decided yet about free agent meetings. He says if they do take them, the meetings would take place in New York City.
Kevin Durant has not yet decided whether he will actually take meetings with prospective teams when free agency begins Sunday evening, but if he and his group do, the discussions will be in New York City, per source.

Durant underwent surgery to repair his torn Achilles tendon in New York and has been hanging out in the city. The location he is spending his time has led to speculation that his future may lie in New York.
If not with the Knicks, the Brooklyn Nets reportedly believe they have a good shot at signing Durant.
Durant has spent the past three seasons with the Golden State Warriors after signing there in the 2016 offseason. They won consecutive championships to start his time with the team, but they fell short last season after both he and Klay Thompson suffered serious injuries in the postseason.
