Lakers set date for Bronny James’ G League debut
The Los Angeles Lakers have set a date for Bronny James’ G League debut, as well as how they intend to split his time between the Lakers and South Bay.
James is expected to make his G League debut with South Bay on Saturday, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. For the moment, the Lakers plan to have James only play in G League home games, as they continue to shuttle him back and forth between South Bay and the Lakers.
For now, sources said, the G League plan is for Bronny James to play in only South Bay home games – as he shuttles between both leagues and team manages his time on respective rosters.

It had already been previously reported that the Lakers are going to keep shuttling James back and forth for the foreseeable future. That does mean he will get some games with the Lakers, where he will continue to draw outsized attention.
Bronny has played in four games at the NBA level so far, accumulating 13 minutes of action.
