LaVar Ball denies that Big Baller Brand is folding

Rumors of Big Baller Brand’s demise may have been greatly exaggerated.
LaVar Ball said Friday that Big Baller Brand was still “good” despite the association of family friend and co-founder Alan Foster, who is accused of stealing up to $1.5 million from Lonzo Ball. The response came in light of reports that the family had privately discussed shutting down the brand after the allegations went public.
“I’m not gonna let one roodypoo guy come in here and do something bad and then be like the brand’s not good,” LaVar Ball told 98.5 KLUC in Las Vegas, via TMZ. “The brand is good. It’s just somebody did something bad to it … We had a snake up in the thing, but you gotta understand this — I’m a snake charmer. When you’re a snake charmer, you’re gonna get bit.”
In this instance, though, the opinion that matters most is Lonzo’s, and he has rapidly been distancing himself from the brand since the Foster allegations became known. LaVar is certainly prepared to forge on, but he may have to do it without his son being the face of the brand.
