LeBron James out until at least Jan. 16 with groin injury
LeBron James will be out at least another six days with a groin injury.
The Los Angeles Lakers issued a medical update about James on Thursday. They said “the healing of James’ groin injury is progressing and James has been cleared to increase on-court functional basketball movements. A further update will be provided on January 16.”
James has missed eight games already since injuring his groin in the Lakers’ win over Golden State on Christmas. They have gone 3-5 during that span.
The Lakers play three games until Jan. 16, so James is slotted to miss at least 11 games. They have a game against OKC on the 17th.
