LeBron James was upset Memphis concert messed with his sleep
LeBron James was not happy about having his sleep messed up prior to the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.
James went on Instagram and Twitter and complained about a concert taking place outside FedEx Forum that was messing with his ability to sleep.
Literally trying to sleep/rest up for the game this evening and there’s a full out concert going on outside our hotel since around 10am. ! Ok I see what y’all trying to do. Cool cool

The event was actually just a pregame party called Tailgate 901 ahead of the Memphis-Ole Miss game at noon. The event included DJs and live music, and apparently it messed with James’ sleep.
What was James doing sleep so late? The Lakers played in Oklahoma City the night before and likely did not arrive in Memphis until very late/early in the morning. On top of the rough travel, the Lakers players might not have been able to sleep well at their hotel. That’s a tough combination.
