Patrick Beverley likely facing suspension after throwing ball at Pacers fan

Bucks guard Patrick Beverley gets heated with a Pacers fan

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley on Thursday was caught on video committing a dangerous move against some Indiana Pacers fans.

The Pacers ended the Bucks’ season via a 120-98 thrashing in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference first-round series at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.

With 2:32 left in the contest, Indiana held a comfortable 20-point lead over Milwaukee.

Beverley, who was on the Bucks’ bench at the time, gestured toward a couple of Pacers fans to throw him a basketball that had ended up in their section. One fan obliged. But once Beverley received the ball, he immediately threw it back to the fan with force.

Beverley threw that ball so fast that it was dangerous. He could face a suspension from the league over it.

Beverley played 40 minutes in Game 6 — the most of any player from either team. Pat Bev finished with just six points on 3/11 shooting with two rebounds and five assists.

Beverley appeared to be in a much better mood after the game. The Bucks guard acknowledged his team was thoroughly beaten and congratulated the Pacers for advancing to the second round.

“Damn belt 2 A$$ … Congratulations Indy,” wrote Beverley.

Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was unable to play a single minute in the series due to a calf injury.

The Greek Freak appeared to be on the cusp of returning before his team was eliminated in six games.
