Paul George dealing with nerve issue in foot

Paul George

Paul George has been dealing with an uncomfortable injury issue this season.

George said after the Oklahoma City Thunder’s win over the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday that he has a nagging nerve issue in his left foot that’s been bothering him since the preseason.

The medical term for the issue is peroneal nerve palsy. The result is George’s foot feels dead sometimes.

George suffered a gruesome broken leg in 2014, but that injury was to his right leg. This is his left foot that is bothering him.

George entered the game averaging 25.5 points per game on 41.5 percent shooting this season. He shot just 4/20 (20 percent) in Thursday’s win.
