The medical term for the issue is peroneal nerve palsy. The result is George’s foot feels dead sometimes.
George suffered a gruesome broken leg in 2014, but that injury was to his right leg. This is his left foot that is bothering him.
George entered the game averaging 25.5 points per game on 41.5 percent shooting this season. He shot just 4/20 (20 percent) in Thursday’s win.
