Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul are taking full advantage of their first offseason as retirees.
The two future Hall of Famers were spotted vacationing together in Italy this week. Paul and Westbrook brought family along on a trip to Portofino and allowed fans to tag along vicariously through social media.
The All-Star point guards still looked to be in great shape despite no longer having to prepare for the rigors of an 82-game season.

Retirement didn’t stop the duo from getting some basketball in during the trip. Instead of the usual hardwood floors of an NBA practice facility, the two former Clippers guards were throwing alley-oops to each other while on the deck of a boat. It was basically Lob City: Portofino edition.

Paul never threw down an alley-oop dunk during an actual game throughout his 21-year NBA career. But he did record one during the 2020 All-Star Game, which Westbrook also set up for him.

Westbrook must be a big fan of the fishing village of Portofino. Last August, Russ and his wife, Nina, got married in the same Italian coastal comune.
