Skip Bayless responds to Russell Westbrook’s wife

Skip Bayless responded on Twitter Saturday to Russell Westbrook’s wife.

Nina Westbrook tweeted a complaint on Friday about Bayless, who mocks Russell by calling him “Westbrick.”

She fell into the trap and complained about Bayless, saying his name for her husband was “disrespectful.” She asked him to call Westbrook by his real last name.

Bayless responded on Saturday said he welcomed Nina’s criticism and her defense of her husband. But Bayless said he wouldn’t back down from calling out Westbrook for his poor shooting.

“Dear Mrs. Westbrook: Thank you for clarifying that I didn’t block you. I’ve never blocked anybody and never will. I welcome your criticism and appreciate your defending your husband. But I will continue to tell the truth as I see it,” Bayless wrote.

Nina made a miscalculation in calling out Bayless. Bayless is a troll who thrives on attention, especially from those who dislike him. The FS1 personality is a classic “heel.” Westbrook’s wife getting upset and calling out Bayless publicly only brought more attention to him and increased his visibility, awareness and importance.
