Thunder’s Andre Roberson out at least two more months

Andre Roberson is expected to miss at least two more months while recovering from knee surgery.

Roberson underwent surgery to repair a ruptured patellar tendon suffered in January. The Oklahoma City Thunder were unsure when Roberson would be able to return to action but figured he wouldn’t miss too much time to start the season. Now that timetable has changed.

A Thunder spokesperson explained that Roberson was experiencing irritation from a suture that was creating discomfort in his knee.

Roberson, 26, only played in 39 games last season because of his knee. He averaged 5.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. Roberson is known for being an excellent defender.
