Tyrese Haliburton talks trash to Knicks fans amid huge showing to begin Game 7
Tyrese Haliburton did his best Reggie Miller impression in the early going of Game 7.
The Indiana Pacers star Haliburton rose to the occasion to begin Sunday’s decisive contest against the Knicks in New York. He blew up for 14 points in just the first quarter alone as the Pacers raced out to a 39-27 lead in front of a stunned Madison Square Garden crowd. After one basket that forced the Knicks to call timeout, Haliburton was seen talking trash to the New York fans in attendance.

The 14-point quarter was the highest-scoring one of the entire postseason for Haliburton. Indiana as a team seemingly could not miss either, shooting a blazing 16-of-21 (76.2 percent) in the period overall.
Haliburton, the NBA assists leader this year, has been criticized throughout the playoffs for bouts of perceived passiveness in favor of getting teammates involved first. He also had a major choke job in Game 1 against the Knicks, but he certainly took control of the wheel to start off Sunday’s Game 7.
