Dale Earnhardt Jr had great response to Busch-Stenhouse fight

Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. got into a brawl after the NASCAR All-Star race on Sunday night, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. would love to see more of that going forward.

Stenhouse wrecked his No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro while jostling for position with Busch on just the second lap at North Wilkesboro Speedway in Wilkesboro, N.C. Stenhouse immediately expressed his frustration with Busch by parking his damaged car in Busch’s pit box and climbing out to deliver a message to Busch’s crew chief. Stenhouse then threw a punch at Busch after the race, causing a huge brawl. You can see the videos here.

With Stenhouse having been knocked out of the race so early, many wondered why he bothered to stick around. The reason is that there is no tunnel at North Wilkesboro Speedway, so drivers have to wait until the race ends to leave the track. Earnhardt Jr. wishes it were like that everywhere.

“Cement up all the tunnels at these tracks,” Earnhardt wrote on X.

In other words, Dale Jr. wants to force the drivers to stay at the track so they have to settle their differences. That would certainly lead to a lot more drama.

You have to wonder if NASCAR feels the same, however. While fights like the one we saw between Busch and Stenhouse certainly lead to great ratings, some probably have concerns that it went a bit too far. One video angle showed that Busch began fighting Stenhouse’s father after the two drivers were pried apart.
