Dustin Johnson

Paulina Gretzky has oddly scrubbed Dustin Johnson from her Instagram page

PGA golfer Dustin Johnson has been engaged to Paulina Gretzky for years, but you wouldn’t know it if you looked at Gretzky’s Instagram page.

Those who follow both Johnson and Gretzky on Instagram have grown accustomed to photos of the two embracing on a yacht or posing with their children, 3-year-old Tatum and 1-year-old River. However, Barstool Sports noticed over the weekend that every photo of Johnson has been scrubbed from Gretzky’s Instagram page.

Strangely enough, even posts like one where Dustin and Paulina announced they are expecting their second child have been deleted. Photos of Gretzky remain on Johnson’s Instagram page, however.

There could be a logical explanation for why Paulina has deleted Dustin from her Instagram life, but we have seen instances in the past — like with this NFL player and his girlfriend — where such activity is the first sign of relationship trouble. Here’s hoping that isn’t the case for one of golf’s power couples.

Dustin Johnson withdraws from Masters due to back injury

The 2017 Masters will proceed without the world’s No. 1 golfer, as Dustin Johnson decided on Thursday to withdraw from the tournament.

Johnson, who injured his back on Wednesday after he fell down a set of stairs at his Augusta rental home, spent about an hour on the driving range before making his decision.

You can read the statement Johnson’s agent put out about the golfer’s unfortunate accident here.

Johnson was coming into the Masters scorching hot, having won the last three PGA events he took part in. It’s an incredible disappointment for golf fans that he won’t be teeing it up at Augusta.

Dustin Johnson questionable for Masters after fall down stairs

Dustin Johnson’s status for the Masters is uncertain after he fell down the stairs at his Augusta rental home, according to his agent.

Here’s the statement sent by Johnson’s agent on Wednesday:

“At roughly 3:00 pm today, Dustin took a serious fall on a staircase in his Augusta rental home,” read a statement from his agent. “He landed very hard on his lower back and is now resting, although quite uncomfortably. He has been advised to remain immobile and begin a regimen of anti-inflammatory medication and icing, with the hope of being able to play tomorrow.”

Johnson is the current No. 1 golfer in the world. He is set to tee off last for Thursday’s first round.
