Conor McGregor has been accused of assaulting a woman aboard his yacht in Ibiza last summer, though he denies the allegations.

An Irish woman who says she has known McGregor for years accused the MMA fighter of attacking her aboard his yacht while they were celebrating his 34th birthday party in Ibiza in July 2022. The woman allegedly claimed McGregor “kicked her in the stomach, punched her in the face and left her bruised,” according to the Daily Mail.

McGregor allegedly criticized the woman, who then asked for help from a friend, which reportedly led McGregor to snap and attack her.

The woman went to police in Ireland about the issue, who contacted authorities in Ibiza. A judge in Spain has now opened an investigation. The investigation was not initially opened because the woman did not provide a full written statement the day of the event.

“Mr. McGregor is steadfast in his denial of all the accusations made by a guest on his boat,” McGregor’s spokesperson said in a statement.

McGregor, 34, has not fought in MMA since July 2021. He is 22-6 and lost three of his last four fights, including consecutive defeats to Dustin Poirier.

Since 2019, McGregor has faced numerous allegations of assault and other crimes.

Dana White has said there is no excuse for the physical altercation he had with his wife earlier this month, and the UFC president does not want any of his fans trying to justify his actions, either.

White spoke with reporters this week about the video that showed him and his wife slapping each other at a nightclub in Mexico on New Year’s Eve. He specifically addressed those who have supported and defended him after the incident. White’s message to those people was to stop.

“One thing that I do want to clarify that I didn’t talk about on TMZ, because I didn’t expect it and I didn’t see it coming, is the people who are defending me,” White said. “There’s never an excuse. There’s no defense for this. People should not be defending me over this thing no matter what. All the criticism I have received this week, and will receive in the future, is 100 percent warranted.”

White, 53, made similar remarks when he spoke with TMZ days after the altercation. He confirmed that both he and his wife had been drinking heavily, but he said there is nothing that would justify him putting his hands on a woman.

White’s wife Anne also issued a statement and said the incident was “out of character” for White. Both apologized to one another, and White said they were more concerned about how their actions have impacted their three children.

Dana and Anne met in the eighth grade and have been married since 1996. They have two sons and a daughter together.

UFC president Dana White was recently caught on video exchanging slaps with his wife during a physical altercation, and the timing of the incident could not have been worse for White’s upcoming reality show.

White is getting set to launch the Power Slap League, which is a competition consisting of of two people alternating slaps to the face for three rounds or until a knockout occurs. The venture is funded by White and his former UFC business partners Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta. The show, which is called “Power Slap: Road to the Title,” was initially scheduled to premiere on TBS Jan. 11.

After a video surfaced that showed White and his wife slapping each other last weekend at a club in Mexico, there were questions about whether the Power Slap League was doomed. Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports that the promotion will air on Jan. 18, however.

White spoke about the incident with his wife this week. He confirmed that he and his wife had been drinking heavily but said there is no excuse for his actions. White’s wife, Anne, also issued a statement saying the incident was “out of character” for White. The two met met in the eighth grade and have been married since 1996.

Oscar De La Hoya has not boxed professionally since 2008, but he still can throw some punches.

De La Hoya took a jab at rival promoter Dana White over the UFC boss’ physical altercation that went viral.

White was captured on video slapping his wife at a club in Mexico over New Year’s. He said that alcohol was involved and influenced his behavior, which he described as “embarrassing.”

De La Hoya saw the story and tweeted a link to it. He added his commentary to it.

“My good friend @danawhite is so greedy he decided to steal fighter pay from his new league on TBS ‘Power Slap’ by getting fighter of the night against his WIFE. Those Boston aerobic instructors are real tough guys,” he said.

De La Hoya was referencing the new “Power Slap League” White has been promoting. “Fighter of the Night” is an award the UFC hands out at the end of fight cards. And De La Hoya was jabbing White with the “Boston aerobic instructors” line; White was a boxing instructor in Boston prior to his involvement in the UFC.

White has said on the record in the past that you don’t come back from hitting a woman. Neither the UFC, parent company Endeavor, nor broadcast partner ESPN have commented on the video, though Oscar has.

Ex-UFC fighter arrested for allegedly killing girlfriend

Former UFC fighter Phil Baroni was reportedly arrested in Mexico this week and is being charged with murder.

According to Mexican media outlet Tribuna De La Bahia, Baroni called police to a home he shared with his girlfriend over the weekend. The woman was unresponsive following what Baroni described as a drunken argument that turned fatal.

Baroni told police he and his girlfriend got into an argument after the woman allegedly admitted to cheating on him. The 46-year-old says he grabbed the woman by the arms and forced her into the shower, at which point she hit her head.

Baroni said the woman was unable to get out of the shower on her own, so he helped her to the bed and wrapped her in a blanket. He then says he drove to the store after she asked him to get cigarettes and beer. The alleged victim was unresponsive on the bed when Baroni returned.

Photos that were taken by police showed bruises on the victim’s face and body. Police said in their report that the woman showed “multiple marks of beatings.” Baroni also had bruising on one of his hands.

Baroni was charged with homicide and was being held Municipal Administrative Court of Valle de Banderas as of Wednesday morning. Authorities are awaiting the result of an autopsy to determine the cause of death for the woman.

Baroni fought for the UFC, Pride FC, Strikeforce, and other promotions. He has a record of 3-7 in UFC and 16-19 overall. His last MMA fight was in September 2019.

Dana White captured on video exchanging slaps with wife

Dana White and his wife were involved in a physical altercation with one another at a nightclub in Mexico over the weekend, and the UFC boss says any criticism he receives over the incident is well deserved.

White and his family were vacationing in Cabo San Lucas when he and his wife Anne went to a nightclub to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The couple was in a VIP area when Dana appeared to whisper something to Anne, and Anne responded by slapping him across the face. Dana then returned the slap to the face and the two tussled for several seconds before being separated.

The exchange was captured on video by a fellow nightclub patron. Eye witnesses told TMZ that Dana and Anne, who have been married for 26 years, seemed very intoxicated.

White spoke with TMZ about the incident and said he has no excuse for his actions.

“You’ve heard me say for years there’s never ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman, and now here I am on TMZ talking about it,” White said. “My wife and I have been married almost 30 years. We’ve known each other since we were 12 years old. We’ve obviously been through some s— together. We’ve got three kids. This is one of those situations that’s horrible. I’m embarrassed. But it’s also one of those situations that, right now, we’re more concerned about our kids.”

White also confirmed that he and his wife had been drinking heavily.

“There was definitely a lot of alcohol involved, but that’s no excuse,” he said. “I literally am making no excuses for this at all.”

Anne also issued a statement to TMZ. She said the altercation was “out of character” and that she and Dana have apologized to one another.

“Dana and I have been married for almost 30 years. To say this is out of character for him is an understatement — nothing like this has ever happened before,” Anne said. “Unfortunately, we were both drinking too much on New Year’s Eve and things got out of control, on both sides. We’ve talked this through as a family and apologized to each other. I just hope people will respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.”

Dana and Anne met in the eighth grade and have been married since 1996. They have two sons and a daughter together.

UFC legend Stephan Bonnar dies – dead at 45

UFC legend Stephan Bonnar died on Thursday at the age of 45.

Bonnar, who was a UFC Hall of Fame inductee, was at work when he died. The UFC said in a story published on Saturday that Bonnar is presumed to have died from heart complications.

“Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the Octagon,” UFC President Dana White said in a statement. “His fight with Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever, and he will never be forgotten. The fans loved him, related to him, and he always gave them his best. He will be missed.”

Bonnar had his first professional MMA fight in 2001. He went 7-1 as a pro before catching his first big break in MMA.

Bonnar appeared on the first season of the reality TV show “The Ultimate Fighter.” He lost to Forrest Griffin via unanimous decision on the finale of the show in what many viewed as one of the best MMA fights ever.

Both Bonnar and Griffin were awarded UFC contracts after putting on a legendary show. Their performance, and the success of the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” led to the show being renewed by Spike TV.

The performance helped launch the careers of Griffin and Bonnar, and the fight is viewed by many as one of the turning points for the UFC.

“It was kind of a little lesson,” Bonnar said of his fight with Griffin. “If you never quit, you really can’t fail. That was the perfect example of that. Give it everything you’ve got and something good will come out of it.”

The two men were inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame together in 2013 following Griffin’s retirement.

Bonnar signed with Bellator to end his MMA career, and he later went into wrestling.

Conor McGregor responds to Joe Rogan PED accusations in deleted tweet

Conor McGregor responded on Twitter to apparent accusations from Joe Rogan about performance-enhancing drugs use.

Rogan had guest Derek of “More Plate More Dates” on his December 3 episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” show. Derek bills himself as being able to spot when people are using supplements, and the two discussed McGregor, whose bulked-up body has drawn attention.

“He’s taking his shirt off and posing constantly and he looks like his piss would melt that USADA cup,” Rogan said on the show. “Like it would just like burn a hole right through the bottom of that USADA cup.”

McGregor has been out of the US anti-doping agency testing pool as he recovers from a broken leg suffered in a loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. In photos shared on social media, McGregor has looked massive. His thighs look enormous and his upper body is extremely built.

McGregor responded to Rogan in a tweet he has since deleted.

“Joe looks like his piss melts his knickers, in the company that long and never took a fight hahhaha @ufc oh tae kwon do competition , call the cops hahahahaah.”

If McGregor were to try and return to the cage next year, he would have to reenter the drug testing pool. The 34-year-old is 22-6 and has lost three of his last four fights.

As for Rogan, in addition to being a longtime analyst/broadcaster for the UFC, he is a longtime mixed martial artist. He has competed in taekwondo and is a black belt in jiu-jitsu.

Conor McGregor shaved his beard and looks so weird

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Conor McGregor has long been one of the most recognizable figures in the fighting world, but picking the former UFC champion out of a crowd might be a difficult task now.

McGregor recently shaved off the beard that he has had for years. One particular photo he shared on Twitter this week showed how wildly different he looks.

The last thing we heard about McGregor’s fighting career is that he was preparing for a possible non-MMA fight.

While there are no plans for that bout to be held, perhaps the 34-year-old is in the early stages of trying to make himself more aerodynamic.
