Andy Enfield on USC tournament snub: ‘We’re very disappointed’

Andy Enfield

Andy Enfield was rightfully quite upset about his USC Trojans being snubbed by the NCAA Tournament selection committee.

Enfield’s Trojans were left out of the NCAA Tournament despite going 23-11 and finishing second in the Pac-12 during conference play, as well as being a runner-up in the conference tournament. Enfield referenced all that on Sunday after being left out of the tournament.

“We’re very disappointed. Our players deserved to be in the NCAA Tournament. They have 23 wins this year and were second in the Pac-12 outright,” Enfield said.

As pointed out before, USC had an RPI of 34, strength of schedule of 37, and 11 road wins. They ended up being a historical snub from the tourney.
