Lagerald Vick will not return to Kansas this season
The Kansas Jayhawks, already shorthanded this season, will be without a key player for the postseason as well.
Coach Bill Self announced that guard Lagerald Vick, who took a leave of absence in early February to deal with a personal matter, will not be back this season.
Self says Lagerald Vick will not rejoin the team this season.

Considering Vick has been absent for a month with no sign of his impending return, this can’t be counted as surprise. It is still a big blow, however. Vick was the only senior on Kansas’s roster, and is the second-leading scorer on the team with 14.1 points per game.
Vick’s absence, coupled with the season-ending injury to Udoka Azubuike, have badly hurt the Jayhawks. They’re just 11-7 since the latter’s injury, and Self has admitted how much that has hurt them.
