Jimbo Fisher took hilarious shot at BroBible, ‘Sliced Bread’
Texas A&M drew all sorts of attention this week for landing not just the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, but also the highest-rated recruiting class in 247 Sports history.
Jimbo Fisher and A&M have been on the receiving end of all sorts of attention over the highly-rated class. Many people have accused the Aggies of achieving such a highly-ranked class through illegal means.
Fisher gave a harsh response on Wednesday to all the critics. The funniest part was the way Fisher singled out the website BroBible for spreading a rumor.
The original rumor about how A&M achieved its highly-ranked class came from an anonymous post on an Oklahoma insider fan site. The post was made by a user named “SlicedBread” and alleged the way A&M paid its recruits.

BroBible then wrote an entire blog post about this unsubstantiated rumor.
The funny thing was seeing Fisher mention BroBible and “SlicedBread” while appearing on 247 Sports’ recruiting show.
Jimbo Fisher talking NIL on @247Sports NSD show: "It didn't affect recruiting at all. This $30 million thing is a joke. This idea there's some fund out there & it was written on BroBible by a guy named sliced bread and now all of a sudden the country believes it?"
Quite a quote

Even before all this, Fisher was pretty transparent about recruiting, saying that recruiting was always done through under-the-table methods. He says the same stuff is happening now, it’s just above ground through the NIL.
