JT Daniels reportedly interested in 3 schools as transfer

JT Daniels is transferring for the second time, and the quarterback is considering several schools.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that Daniels, who will graduate from Georgia in the spring, took a visit to Oregon State earlier this week. He also has interest in West Virginia and Missouri.

Daniels began his college career at USC. He started as a freshman and passed for 2,672 yards, 14 touchdowns and 10 interceptions for the Trojans. He hurt his knee at the start of the 2019 season and was replaced by Kedon Slovis, who too has since left USC.

The former five-star recruit transferred from USC to Georgia, where he got a delayed start to the 2020 season due to his injury recovery. He mostly was beat out for the job by Stetson Bennett, who helped lead the Bulldogs to the national championship.

One prominent coach has already met with Daniels since the QB entered the transfer portal. Daniels appears to be exploring all options.
