Ole Miss pulls offer to LSU’s Austin Thomas for waffling
Ole Miss says that it has pulled an offer to LSU’s Austin Thomas to join the football staff.
Ole Miss AD Ross Bjork said on Friday that the offer to Thomas was pulled because he was waffling over his interest in joining the Rebels. Here’s a statement from Bjork:

Thomas is the general manager of LSU football and was going to have the title of Associate Athletics Director for Player Personnel at Ole Miss. Bjork says Thomas agreed to everything before showing indecision about the move, leading the Rebels to pull the offer.
Ole Miss’ Rivals site says Thomas began receiving interest from Texas A&M, which could have caused him to have second thoughts.
