Syracuse upsets Clemson, ending longest win streak in NCAA Football

Dabo Swinney

The No. 2 Clemson Tigers suffered a massive upset Friday night at the hands of the Syracuse Orange. Syracuse won, 27-24, claiming the victory at home. The Orange fans stormed the field after the upset.

Clemson struggled mightily.

This is unequivocally the biggest win of the Dino Babers era in Upstate New York. With the win Syracuse improved to 4-3, while Clemson, which will likely fall in next week’s AP top 25 poll, fell to 6-1.

It could be at least partially attributed to Clemson losing its starting quarterback, Kelly Bryant, who suffered a concussion in the second quarter.
