Missouri WR falls victim to epic trash talk from opponent
A Texas A&M cornerback had some epic trash talk for his Missouri Tigers opponent ahead of Saturday’s game, and he even backed it up.
Missouri wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. shared on Instagram the “gift” he received from Aggies cornerback Will Lee III ahead of Saturday’s game. Lee sent Wease a Texas A&M blanket, complete with a card.
Mizzou WR Theo Wease Jr. received this message after arriving to the team hotel in College Station…
“Get used to this blanket … It will be real tomorrow.”

“Get used to this blanket…it will be real tomorrow,” the card read.
Wease at least had a sense of humor about the whole thing. He showed up to Saturday’s game wrapped in the blanket.

Lee ultimately had the last laugh in the matchup. Wease was held without a catch in the first half. He did contribute a 59-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter, but Missouri was already down 34-0 at that point, and he ultimately finished with two catches for 72 yards.
Credit to Wease for being willing to have fun with the trash talk, but he definitely did not come out on top in this matchup.
