
Tommy Armstrong Jr. was carted off the field in Columbus on Saturday after hitting his head on the turf during the second quarter of Nebraska’s game against Ohio State.
Armstrong was scrambling on a 3rd and 7 play and was pushed out of bounds inside the 25. Armstrong went head-first into the turf and did not get up.
There was concern on the field as Armstrong did not move for over five minutes. He was eventually placed onto a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance.

Armstrong’s girlfriend and father both came down to the field as they were concerned over Tommy’s status. Both Tommy and his father gave thumbs up. The Buckeyes crowd was very supportive as well, as they chanted for Tommy.
