Report: Packers’ Aaron Jones avoids serious injury
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones suffered an MCL injury Sunday against the Chicago Bears, but it does not appear serious.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Jones, who left Sunday’s game and did not return, suffered an MCL sprain that is not considered major.

That’s a relief for the Packers, as Jones clearly has a bright future and has won the faith of his quarterback. He has 728 rushing yards on the season, a tally that could be much higher had his day not been cut short against Chicago. His status for Week 16 is unclear, but with the Packers eliminated from playoff contention, they probably won’t push him more than they need to.
