Aaron Rodgers had the sweetest interview with Pam Oliver after the New York Jets’ game on Sunday.
Rodgers led his Jets to a 32-20 Week 18 win over the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The victory helped the Jets finish the season 5-12.
Rodgers had one of his best statistical games of the season as he went 23/36 for 274 yards with 4 touchdowns and an interception. The strong performance for Rodgers came as retirement rumors swirled around the veteran quarterback. Just on Sunday, a report said that people around Rodgers believe he could retire. Rodgers certainly acted after the game as if this could be it.

“I’m gonna get home and relax.. But I’m not going to hold anybody up. I’ll have conversations tomorrow with the Jets to see what they’re thinking, and then we will make a decision before it gets too late in the offseason,” Rodgers said regarding his retirement decision.
After he gave that answer, Rodgers told Oliver, who was interviewing him, “I love you, Pam.”
“Love you back,” Oliver said in response.
The two then shared a hug as Rodgers put his arm around Oliver.
“You’re the best,” Rodgers told the veteran FOX reporter before departing.

Rodgers still might decide to return in 2025, but that hug made it clear that Rodgers felt it might be his last time being interviewed by Oliver as a player.
Rodgers has been in the NFL since 2005. Oliver has been with FOX since 1995.
