Adrian Peterson misses practice after reportedly tweaking knee
Adrian Peterson missed practice on Thursday, and the veteran running back is reportedly dealing with a minor knee injury.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Peterson was given a day of rest after he “tweaked his knee a little” earlier in the week.
#Saints RB Adrian Peterson tweaked his knee a little in practice yesterday, I’m told. Sounds like his absence was a mix of knee/veteran day

That report doesn’t make it seem like Peterson is in danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, but the injury is worth monitoring for a 32-year-old player who has a history with knee issues.
Peterson’s first three games with the New Orleans Saints have been a disappointment. He has rushed for just 77 yards on 23 carries and has yet to find the end zone. The most notable thing to happen to Peterson since he joined the Saints is some sideline drama involving his head coach in Week 1.
