Auden Tate taken off on stretcher after hit to head
Auden Tate was taken off on a stretcher after taking a hit to the head during Sunday’s Cincinnati Bengals-Oakland Raiders game.
The Bengals were down 17-10 and facing a 3rd-and-19. Ryan Finley threw a pass near the sticks for Tate, who made a sliding catch. As Tate was going to the turf, he was hit by Curtis Riley around the head area.

Tate tried to get up but a staffer who came out to see him told him to stay down. Tate was strapped onto a backboard, placed on a cart and taken away.
A second-year player out of Florida State, Tate was leading the Bengals with four catches for 56 yards at the time he was taken away. He gave a big thumbs up with both hands after being placed on the cart.
