The Boston Celtics held their victory parade on Friday to celebrate winning the 2023-24 NBA championship, and they received a nice message beforehand from someone who has been in their position a time or two.

Bill Belichick congratulated the Celtics on Friday morning through his charity, the Bill Belichick Foundation.

“Congrats @celtics! This view doesn’t get old. Enjoy it out there today! — BB,” the Bill Belichick Foundation wrote on X.

Belichick certainly would know. The legendary coach won six championships in his 24 years with the New England Patriots. Though he was known for his no-nonsense attitude, Belichick always seemed to have fun during the championship parades on the streets of Boston.

Belichick has been spotted at Celtics games over the years and has always been supportive of the team. It’s nice to see that continue even with him no longer coaching the Patriots.
