Bucs asking fans to shine cell phone lights to honor Las Vegas victims
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have found a creative way to pay tribute to the 59 people who lost their lives and dozens of others who were injured in the tragic mass shooting that took place in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Prior to Thursday night’s game against the New England Patriots, the Bucs are asking fans to shine their cell phone lights during a moment of silence in honor of “the brightest city on earth.”

The Las Vegas shooting has sent shockwaves across the country and globe, and that includes within the sports world. On Wednesday night, the Arizona Diamondbacks held a pregame ceremony for a former employee who lost her life in the shooting.
