Chiefs fans love what Patrick Mahomes said in his postgame interview
Kansas City Chiefs fans loved what Patrick Mahomes said in his postgame interview on Sunday after leading his team to another Super Bowl appearance.
The Chiefs beat the Ravens in Baltimore 17-10 to win the AFC and reach the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the last five years. Mahomes knows that while reaching the Super Bowl is great, it’s not the end goal for the team.
He mentioned in his postgame interview with CBS’ Tracy Wolfson twice that the Chiefs are “not done” yet.
“It’s been a heck of a year. We’re not done yet. But this is the way to get there,” Mahomes said.
“Now we’re in the Super Bowl, and the job’s not done. We got to go out there to Vegas and play a great team and see if we can go out there and get a Super Bowl.”
"We've been underdogs for the last few games, but we never feel like underdogs."

Fans have to love that attitude.
Even though making the Super Bowl is a cause for celebration for many teams and players, for Mahomes, it’s just another step toward the ultimate goal of winning the championship. Now he’s looking to win his third career Super Bowl in just six seasons as the Chiefs’ starting quarterback.
But don’t get ahead of yourself — the job’s not done yet.
