Damarious Randall gets 1-year deal from Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders saw a deal fall through with one defensive back, but they have worked out an agreement with another.
Damarious Randall has agreed to a one-year deal with the Raiders, the safety told ESPN’s Josina Anderson. This comes hours after we learned the team’s deal with Eli Apple fell through.
Randall had 61 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 11 games for the Cleveland Browns last season. He had 85 tackles and four interceptions for Cleveland two seasons ago.
The 27-year-old has had issues at both of his previous stops. He got sent to the locker room after pouting during a 2017 game and was traded after the season by the Packers. Then he was benched due to a coach’s decision last year with the Browns.
Thankful for the Raiders, they have plenty of experience in dealing with headaches.
