DeAngelo Hall asks for cleats back from fan, forgot his insoles

Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall made a nice gesture earlier this week when he gave a fan his cleats after practice.

But now he needs them back.

On Thursday, Hall tweeted that he accidentally left his insoles inside the cleats and was hoping the fan would return them. It became clear that he wasn’t joking when he offered the fan a game jersey or tickets in exchange for returning the kicks.

Hopefully the fan follows Hall on Twitter, because I’d trade a pair of smelly cleats for an authentic game jersey or tickets to a game any day of the week.

As we know, Hall can be a pretty absent-minded guy. Remember how he reinjured his achilles last year? We’re not surprised he would forget his insoles while trying to make a fan’s day.
