Deshaun Watson wrote ‘MVP’ on jersey in swap with Lamar Jackson
Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson are two of the best young players in the league (and best overall) and showed immense respect for each other after Sunday’s game.
Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens rolled in a 41-7 win over Watson’s Houston Texans on Sunday in Baltimore. Jackson threw for four touchdowns and rushed for 86 yards, while Watson threw for just 169 yards and turned the ball over twice.
The two players, who finished 1-2 in Heisman Trophy voting in 2016, are good friends and swapped jerseys after the game. Watson said he wrote “MVP” on the jersey when they traded.

At this point, Jackson is one of the favorites for league MVP, so the message fits. Baltimore is 8-2, and Jackson is up to 25 total touchdowns this year and nearly 800 yards rushing.
