Frank Gore isn’t the biggest fan of ex-San Francisco 49ers GM Trent Baalke.
Speaking after his Indianapolis Colts defeated the Niners, his former team, on Sunday, Gore ripped Baalke for running the red and gold into the ground, according to Ann Killion of the San Francisco Chronicle.

The 34-year-old Gore spent the first ten seasons of his career in San Francisco from 2005 to 2014, while Baalke came aboard as GM in 2011. The shame is the Niners were just beginning to reverse a decade of mediocrity with three straight playoff appearances (including a Super Bowl berth) and two division titles from 2011 to 2013. But Baalke and owner Jed York appeared to force out popular and successful head coach Jim Harbaugh after the 2014 campaign, triggering a chain reaction of events that left the team back in the gutter. Now with the Niners having a total of just seven wins over the last three seasons (and Baalke being out of a job), it sounds like Gore is just telling it like it is.
