Ja’Marr Chase commits disrespectful move after scoring touchdown
Ja’Marr Chase on Sunday channeled his inner Allen Iverson after scoring a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns.
The Bengals led the Browns 7-6 midway through the third quarter at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Facing 2nd-and-5 at the Browns’ 18, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow lofted a pass to Chase toward the left pylon. Chase slowed down and made an awesome back shoulder catch over Browns cornerback Greg Newsome for a touchdown.
Idk about you, but we love us some UNO!!

Chase celebrated by stepping over Newsome’s body like Iverson famously did to Tyronn Lue during the 2001 NBA Finals. Newsome was not at all happy about it.

Chase isn’t the first Pro Bowl wide receiver to copy the Philadelphia 76ers icon’s stepover after scoring a touchdown. The Bengals star definitely won’t be the last.
The Bengals wideout may have pulled a disrespectful move against Newsome, but it probably won’t get Chase fined like his celebration from Week 5 did.
Cincinnati held on for a 21-14 win over a scuffling Browns squad. Chase led his team with five catches for 55 yards and 1 touchdown.
After dropping their first three games, the Bengals have now won three of their last four to improve to 3-4 for the season.
