Video of Jason Kelce signing for angry autograph seeker goes viral
Jason Kelce had another tense exchange with a fan this week, but the former Philadelphia Eagles star appeared to go out of his way to defuse the situation this time.
Kelce was a guest “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Thursday night, which is filmed at the El Capitan Entertainment Center in Hollywood, Calif. A group of fans who were outside the building asked for Kelce’s autograph as he was leaving, and Kelce initially declined. TMZ obtained a video of the incident.
As Kelce was getting into a car to leave, one autograph seeker berated the former Pro Bowl center and accused Kelce of “acting like a hot shot.” The man then hurled countless expletives at Kelce, and Kelce responded that he has “a habit of not signing for people that follow where I’m going.”
The autograph seeker then angrily explained that the fans were not following Kelce and that they ask every Kimmel guest to sign. The man claimed celebrities like Morgan Freeman and Harrison Ford made time to sign autographs. After the fan told Kelce “f– you,” Kelce got out of the car and walked over to sign.
The unhinged fan continued to berate Kelce before taking a complete turn and telling Kelce he has nothing but “love” for the ESPN analyst. Kelce then signed an item for the man. You can see the full video, but beware that it contains a ton of cursing:

Kelce has gained popularity through his various media ventures over the past two years. The 36-year-old is learning about everything that accompanies that success. He also recently made headlines when he had a heated incident with a fan who insulted his brother Travis. Kelce apologized on the air after a clip of the altercation went viral.
In the latest instance, Kelce would have been justified in not fulfilling the autograph seeker’s request. He chose to do it anyway.
