No, Jerry Jones did not tell Cowboys scouts not to bother him during draft
A story circulated on Thursday suggesting that Jerry Jones told Dallas Cowboys scouts not to bother him during the NFL Draft, but that story is not true and was just a joke.
Matt Mosley, who covers Dallas sports for the Dallas Morning News, tweeted a joke Thursday about Jerry and the draft.
Jerry Jones has asked his scouting department not to disturb him during tonight's draft.

Though some recognized the humor in the joke, others took it seriously and even began posting news stories as if it were real.
After Mosley’s joke started circulating and people took it as truth, he tried to clarify that he was joking.
Haha that's my satirical headline. Don't be fooled by my jokes. https://t.co/OodXNGqX0F

So, no, Jerry never told his scouts NOT to bother him. And he will be plugged in with his son, Stephen, though the two will not be in the same home for the draft.
Having someone around during the draft might help Jerry though, as it can prevent him from making a big mistake.
