Joe Flacco has fantastic quote about his age
Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco turns 39 in roughly two weeks, but he has not shown it since taking over as the team’s starting quarterback. In fact, he has used his experience to become something of a mentor to what is otherwise a fairly young team.
Flacco offered up a fantastic quote about the age difference between himself and many of his teammates on Wednesday. The veteran quarterback joked that, had he been less careful in his youth, he could be a father to one of his younger teammates.
#Browns QB Joe Flacco was asked if he can see the way his age and experience has affected the locker room.
"If I messed up in high school, I could be some of these kids dads."

“If I messed up in high school, I could be some of these kids’ dads,” Flacco said.
That is one way to describe it. One of Flacco’s former coaches had another way of putting it, but ultimately, Flacco’s age is an amusing note to go along with a remarkable comeback.
Flacco has gone 4-1 in five starts for the Browns after Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending injury. He will not play Sunday, as the Browns have the No. 5 seed locked up in the AFC.
