John Harbaugh playing coy about Ravens’ starting QB for Week 13

Joe Flacco

Lamar Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to another win on Sunday and kept them squarely in the playoff hunt, and the team’s back-to-back victories could lead to head coach John Harbaugh having to make a tough decision.

Following Baltimore’s 34-17 win over the Oakland Raiders, Harbaugh said he is not going to get into naming a starter for Week 13. For what it’s worth, he did not commit to Joe Flacco being the starter when the veteran returns from a hip injury.

A report from Sunday indicated that Flacco is expected to return from his hip injury and practice this week, and Harbaugh acknowledged that that would be right around the time the QB was supposed to be cleared.

While Jackson threw two interceptions on Sunday and was still able to beat a sub-par opponent, the Ravens had lost three consecutive games before the rookie took over as the starter and have now won two in a row. Sometimes a struggling team needs a spark, and it sure looks like Jackson has provided that in Baltimore.
