Video: Mark Davis goes viral for chomping on chicken wing

Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis may have stolen the show during his team’s preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On Thursday, the Raiders and Jaguars played in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.

Early on in the contest, the NBC broadcast locked in on Davis, who was munching on a classic stadium snack.

NBC play-by-play broadcaster Mike Tirico was talking about the Raiders’ January playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card round. While he was doing so, the camera captured Davis chewing on a chicken wing while wearing a white shirt.

You think Davis is a mild or hot sauce on his wings kind of guy? Shame on him for cheating on P.F. Chang’s.

Although the AFC West figures to be a gauntlet of a division to go through, Davis’ Raiders have a chance to be one of the better teams in the entire conference this season.

The team finished 10-7 last year and made a big addition on offense. The Raiders traded for Davante Adams during the offseason, and signed him to a five-year deal worth $141.25 million. Adams had the third-most receiving yards (1,553) in the NFL in 2021, along with 123 receptions and 11 touchdowns.

Vegas also gave franchise quarterback Derek Carr a massive three-year contract extension in April.

While Davis looked to be savoring that chicken wing on Thursday, a Super Bowl championship next February would definitely taste sweeter.
