Myles Garrett found out he was selected by the Browns No. 1 overall in Thursday’s NFL Draft by one of the greatest players in league history.
Heading into the draft, Garrett was the consensus best player available. However, when it comes to the Browns, there was no certainty what they would do. There were rumors North Carolina’s Mitchell Trubisky was in play as Cleveland is in need of a quarterback. However, Garrett ultimately ended up being the selection.
Being drafted is one of the best moments in the lives of the young men who are fortunate to experience. For Garrett, he learned of his moment from Hall of Famer and Browns legend Jim Brown.
