New York newspaper puts Sam Darnold in ‘Hamilton’ costume
The New York Daily News had a ridiculous cover ahead of Sam Darnold’s first career home start for the New York Jets.
The Daily News’ cover had Darnold cloaked in revolutionary clothing and was a play on the hit play “Hamilton,” only they called it “Samilton.”

Darnold threw two touchdown passes during the Jets’ 48-17 win over the Detroit Lions on the road on Monday night. The first-round pick will get his first taste of MetLife Stadium in the team’s home game against the division rival Miami Dolphins.
