Patrick Peterson the latest to recruit Antonio Brown following trade request
Antonio Brown took to Twitter on Tuesday to officially bid farewell to Pittsburgh Steelers fans, and it didn’t take long before another veteran player began recruiting him publicly.
After Brown tweeted that it is “time to move on and forward,” Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson was quick to reach out.

Like Brown, Peterson is a Pro Bowl player who has spent his entire career with one team. Ironically, Peterson actually tried to force his way out of Arizona during the 2018 season, but he later apologized and committed to the franchise.
Brown remains under contract with the Steelers, but he’s probably going to get his wish at some point. While there has been talk that the All-Pro has his sights set on a certain team, he doesn’t exactly control his own destiny. Peterson isn’t the first player to recruit Brown via social media, but the receiver is not a free agent.
