Rams sign coach Sean McVay, GM Les Snead to multi-year extensions
The Los Angeles Rams continue to ensure that their future will remain bright after their rapid rise under their current regime.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Rams have signed coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead to extensions that will keep them in place well past the opening of the team’s new stadium. ESPN’s Adam Schefter added that both extensions run through 2023.
The #Rams have locked up their top tandem — coach Sean McVay and GM Les Snead — on lucrative multi-year extensions that keep them together for many years deep into when the new stadium opens. Well-deserved for both.

In two seasons as the Rams’ head coach, McVay has gone 24-8 with an NFC title to his name. Teams throughout the NFL have tried to hire coaches who match his style, so it’s a no-brainer that the Rams would keep him around. Snead has run the Rams’ organization since 2012 and has overseen their recent rise to prominence.
One of the major decisions the McVay-Snead team will have to make in the coming years is what to do with their franchise quarterback and his contract situation. Both will clearly have the confidence of the organization to do as they see fit.
