Redskins will stick with Josh Johnson in Week 15
The Washington Redskins will bring back Josh Johnson to start in Week 15, according to coach Jay Gruden.
Johnson will start against the Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of Mark Sanchez, who was benched after a disastrous first half in the Redskins’ 40-16 loss to the New York Giants.
Gruden doesn’t expect any changes this week to staff but Josh Johnson will start next week

Sanchez was benched after throwing two interceptions, including a pick-six, in Sunday’s defeat. Johnson was better, going 11-of-16 with a touchdown and an interception, though it was far too late for the switch to make any difference. In truth, it probably doesn’t really matter who starts for Washington the rest of the way. They’ve lost four in a row and look to be headed into a total freefall to end their season regardless of who’s under center.
