Rob Gronkowski exits Week 4 game with ankle injury
The New England Patriots looked like a completely new team in their Week 4 game against the Miami Dolphins, but the news wasn’t all good as they solved many of their offensive issues and looked fantastic on both sides of the ball.
After he made a catch during the third quarter, Gronkowski went to the sideline and appeared to be having his lower right leg examined by trainers. For what it’s worth, Ryan Hannable of WEEI.com noted that Gronk was healthy enough to celebrate a touchdown with his teammates.
Re: Gronkowski. After his last catch he went to sideline and trainers had him walk to the bench where they worked on his right leg (likely ankle). After TD he got up and moved around sideline fine congratulating offense. Then, went inside. Keep in mind Pats up 31 & play Thurs.

The Patriots later announced that Gronkowski has an ankle injury:
Rob Gronkowski has an ankle injury and the Patriots said his return today is questionable.

The Patriots had taken a 31-0 lead at the time, and Gronkowski has been on the injury report a few times this season with an ankle injury. It’s possible the ailment is something he has been playing through, and New England isn’t going to risk anything with the game well in-hand.
