Seahawks TE Will Dissly leaves game with Achilles injury
Seattle Seahawks tight end Will Dissly is having a breakout season, but that is being marred by injury.
Dissly left Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns after suffering an Achilles injury on a non-contact play. He was taken off the field on a cart and appeared to raise his hand as he left the field.
TE Will Dissly appears to raise hand as he leaves field on a cart. Achilles injury, non-contact cutting on Cleveland’s grass field chasing a pass. Obviously out for rest of today and likely beyond. Seattle announced he was out for the rest of the game.
Mostly a blocking tight end coming out of college, Dissly has become a valuable piece in Seattle’s passing game this year. He entered the game with 23 catches for 262 yards and four touchdowns. Dissly only played in four games last year due to a knee injury.
