Tom Brady applies for two Bucs-related trademarks

Tom Brady

Tom Brady has opened up endless new merchandising opportunities now that he has left the New England Patriots to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the 42-year-old quarterback is looking to capitalize on as many as he can.

As Josh Gerben of Gerben Law Firm discovered, Brady has already filed for two new trademarks that utilize his name as a play on words with his new team. One trademark is for the phrase “Tompa Bay” and the other is for “Tampa Brady.”

Of course, items featuring those and other clever phrases relating to Brady signing with the Bucs have already hit stores. Darren Rovell pointed out that “The Dan Patrick Show” has been selling shirts that say “Tompa Bay.”

Brady is an extremely successful businessman who always seems to be ahead of the trademark game, so this is not a surprise. We can only imagine how much more money he’ll be making in a new city with a new team.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have teamed up yet again! Treat yourself or a friend with this great Tampa Fiesta shirt. You can buy it here.
