Tom Brady has cool reaction to Chiefs breaking one of his records

Some of Tom Brady’s NFL records are starting to fall a year after his retirement, but the legendary quarterback seems perfectly content with that.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce linked up for two touchdowns in Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs AFC Divisional win over the Buffalo Bills, which set a record for most playoff touchdowns by a quarterback-tight end duo. Brady and Rob Gronkowski had previously held the record with 15.

Brady praised Mahomes and Kelce as “beasts,” and admitted you must be doing something right if you are passing Gronkowski in any category.

This would hardly have been one of Brady’s most valued records, but it’s cool to see him acknowledging it nonetheless. Plus, it is quite the feat, especially since Mahomes and Kelce have only been in tandem for six seasons. Brady and Gronkowski spent almost twice as many years together.

At least on the surface, Mahomes’ dominance with Kelce does not seem to be slowing down, though one former NFL reporter thinks it might be coming to an end sooner than expected.
